Se entregan los Golden Globe

La ceremonia de entrega de la 68 edición de los Golden Globe o Globos de Oro tendrá lugar el 16 de enero en el hotel Beverly Hilton de Los Ángeles, en California.

"The King's Speech", que parte como gran favorita de los premios con siete candidaturas, competirá con "The Social Network", de David Fincher, por premio a la Mejor Película de Drama, así como con "Black Swan", de Darren Aronosfsky; "The Fighter", de David O. Russell, e "Inception", de Christopher Nolan.

"The King's Speech" compite además en las categorías de Mejor Director, Mejor Actor de Drama, Guión, Banda Sonora, Actor Secundario y Actriz Secundaria. Le siguen como favoritas "The Social Network" y "The Fighter", ambas con seis candidaturas. "Black Swan, "Inception" y "The Kids Are All Right" consiguieron cuatro candidaturas cada una.

Los actores Colin Firth ("The King's Speech"), Jesse Eisenberg ("The Social Network"), James Franco ("127 Hours"), Ryan Gosling (Blue Valentine) y Mark Wahlberg ("The Fighter") fueron nominados para el Globo de Oro a Mejor actor.

David Fincher, por "The Social Network", Tom Hooper, por "The King Speech", compitan en la categoría de Mejor dirección junto con Darren Aronofsky ("Black Swan"), Christopher Nolan ("Inception") y David O. Russell ("The Fighter").

Halle Berry ("Frankie and Alice") y Nicole Kidman ("Rabbit Hole") competirán por el premio Globo de Oro a la Mejor Actriz de Drama, junto con Jennifer Lawrence ("Winter's Bone"), Natalie Portman ("Black Swan") y Michelle Williams ("Blue Valentine").

El filme hispano-mexicano "Biutiful", de Alejandro González Iñárritu, la actriz colombiana Sofía Vergara y el actor venezolano Édgar Ramírez aportan el toque latinoamericano entre los candidatos a los Globos de Oro.

"Biutiful" resultó nominada en la categoría de Mejor película en lengua extranjera, y competirá por ese galardón con las producciones "The Concert" (Francia), "The Edge" (Rusia), "I am Love" (Italia) y "In a Better World" (Dinamarca).

Sofía Vergara consiguió su primera candidatura a estos premios por su trabajo en "Modern Family". La actriz, nacida en Barranquilla, competirá en la categoría de Mejor Actriz de Reparto en una Serie, Miniserie o Película para Televisión. Sus rivales serán Hope Davis, por "The Special Relationship"; Jane Lynch, por "Glee", Kelly MacDonald, por "Boardwalk Empire", y Julia Stiles, por "Dexter".

Para Édgar Ramírez es también su primera nominación, en este caso por su papel en "Carlos". El intérprete, nacido en San Cristóbal, resultó candidato en la categoría de Mejor Actor en una Miniserie o Película para Televisión. Luchará por el galardón frente a Idris Elba ("Luther"), Ian McShane ("Pillars of the Earth"), Al Pacino ("You Don't Know Jack") y Dennis Quaid ("The Special Relationship").

"Carlos" compite en la categoría de Mejor Miniserie o Película para Televisión, junto a "The Pacific", "Pillars of the Earth", "Temple Grandin" y "You Don't Know Jack".
