El #TIPOFTHEWEEK es una iniciativa de Inc., empresa dedicada a la enseñanza de inglés a adultos. Sometimes English has those really specific words that are hard to translate but describe things perfectly. Today's #tipoftheweek is one of those: #douchebag: we all know one, you might even be one and not know... so.. what is it, and how do you pronounce it?

Tip of the Week time, and today, because it's December and I have no more patience - this word, right here. What is it? How do you pronounce it? Go on! give it a shot , say it out loud.
Today's tip of the week is a soft swear word.. so only use it in informal situations. ... But what is a douche bag
Douche bag, is a word borrowed from French and literally means this- but in slang douche bag or douche is an idiot, a jerk, somebody who is arrogant and annoying.
But a douchebag has some particular characteristics. 1. It has to be male, you can't call women douchebags. 2. They have a big ego, douchebags don't know that they're douchebags, and 3. Their attitudes generate a lot of these reactions...
So yeah, that's the deal with douchebags. Bonus tip though... be careful, there's douche bags everywhere.
